DEBORAH RODIER HAS BEEN NAMED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE MARK WENTWORTH HOME, PORTSMOUTH, NH

Deborah Rodier has been named Executive Director of the Mark Wentworth Home, Portsmouth�s not-for-profit assisted living and nursing care community.�� A native of Portsmouth, Rodier has a unique perspective of both sides of the elder care experience, having had several family members reside at the Home.� �Debbie�s background in geriatric care management and her commitment to a culture of successful aging is at the heart of the Home�s core values,� says Board of Trustees President William Henson.�

Prior to the announcement Rodier was the Home�s Administrator for Assisted Living.� She has been employed with the Home for nearly 12 years, where she has also served as Director of Nurses and Director of Resident Services. Previously she has held administrative roles with Optima Health�s Hillcrest Terrace, Elder Services, and McKerley Healthcare of Bedford, NH.� Rodier is a Certified Case Manager, a trained geriatric care manager and a Certified Aging Services Professional.� She obtained her nursing degree from Newton-Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing, and a BA in Business Administration from Simmons College.�

The Mark Wentworth Home is a non-profit assisted living and nursing home community located in an historic Portsmouth estate on Pleasant Street. The Home has been serving Seacoast seniors since 1911 by providing a culture of successful aging and personalized services for its residents.
